SLAUGHTERHOUSE SYRAH

When we moved to the slaughterhouse in 1998, we closed the business that had been here for many years. Where there were once stockades there is now a studio, gallery and winery. To honor the new role of the property, we created a label devoted to  A Peaceable Kingdom that honors our love and respect for all animals. Our Slaughterhouse Syrah is a muscular, full-bodied wine ruby purple in color, with an impressive mouth feel and a classic bouquet of blackberries, cassis and licorice. Its earthy, smoky overtones are expansive on the palate and the soft tannins make it a pleasure to drink now.
